YWCA AWA
29th Academy For Women of Achievement

The YWCA Nashville and Middle Tennessee required an event producer and production support for their 29th Annual Academy for Women of Achievement. Working around COVID 19 challenges, this year’s celebration was a unique series of hybrid events– held both in person and virtually.

Harbor produced video content highlighting each of this year’s nine honorees which was premiered at the virtual AWA celebration. We also curated and delivered gift boxes full of goods from talented women owned businesses for the honorees and virtual celebration participants to enjoy.

For the honoree pinning ceremony before the virtual program, Harbor worked with the client, venue and vendors to coordinate a socially distanced cocktail hour. The virtual portion was then streamed through a unique link, as well as the YWCA’s Facebook page for attendees to enjoy at home. The YWCA had great engagement with the virtual program and we even re-broadcasted the event later in the week for additional viewers.
